Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Drafting Technician to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating precise technical drawings and schematics that support system design, construction, and manufacturing projects. Other tasks include assisting in project planning and providing accurate documentation related to the projects, maintaining inventory and ordering materials.
Responsibilities
- Create accurate schematics and system layouts for mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring clarity and precision for manufacturing and construction teams.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into comprehensive technical documentation.
- Assist in the assembly of mechanical components by preparing detailed drawings for fabrication and installation processes.
- Support construction teams by providing updated drawings, revisions, and technical guidance throughout project execution, maintaining inventory and ordering materials as needed.
- Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of mechanical engineering principles and system design.
- Experience working with schematics, assembly drawings, and construction documents in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of construction practices, site coordination, and the ability to interpret construction drawings accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills to collaborate across disciplines
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
