Job Overview
We are looking for a full-time warehouse operator. The days that are required to work is from Wednesday - Saturday and being available to work on demand occasionally on Sundays. Have the ability to lift and carry at least 50 LBS for a small duration of time. Preferably to be forklift certified or to have prior forklift experience as well as previous warehouse experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy duty equipment such as lifts, manual and electric pallet jack lifts.
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment daily.
- Assist with shipping & receiving processes, maintaining accurate records via email.
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of products and materials.
- Support order fulfillment activities including packaging and labeling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets in warehouse distribution setting.
- Support construction or assembly tasks as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge and heavy equipment operation skills.
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is highly preferred, especially in distribution environments.
- Experience operating heavy equipment including, forklifts, pallet jack lifts or similar machinery is desirable.
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures.
- Mechanical knowledge or construction experience is a plus for understanding equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods.
- Prior experience with order fulfillment, packaging, load & unload operations is beneficial for this role.
This role requires a proactive approach to safety and efficiency, with a focus on teamwork and operational excellence. Candidates should be comfortable working in physically demanding environments while adhering to safety standards.
Pay: $20.25-$25.10 per hour
