About the Role
Homewood Suites by Hilton North Bay is seeking an experienced and service-oriented Front Desk Manager to oversee all front office operations and lead a team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences. The Front Desk Manager plays a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining brand standards, maximizing guest satisfaction, and supporting the overall success of the hotel.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the front desk and guest services department.
- Lead, train, coach, and mentor front desk associates and supervisors.
- Ensure efficient and accurate guest check-in and check-out procedures.
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores and implement service improvement initiatives.
- Handle guest concerns, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Develop staff schedules and manage labor costs in accordance with business needs.
- Maintain compliance with Hilton brand standards, hotel policies, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, sales, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Monitor room inventory, reservations, occupancy, and revenue opportunities.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, audits, and front office reporting.
- Participate in recruiting, onboarding, performance evaluations, and employee development.
- Ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests and team members.
Qualifications Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1–2 years of hotel front office experience.
- At least 2 years of leadership or management experience in hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations and guest service standards.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within Hilton-branded hotels.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of revenue management principles and hotel performance metrics.
- Multilingual communication skills.
