Sandhar Trucking is a leading provider of transportation and warehousing in BC. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team and support our daily operations.
Summary
The Administrative Assistant will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support, assisting customers, and coordinating day-to-day communications. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced transportation environment.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Monitor and manage company email inboxes.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely assistance.
- Enter and process customer orders accurately within company systems.
- Prepare and distribute invoices and related documentation.
- Maintain electronic and physical filing systems.
- Coordinate communication between customers, drivers, and internal departments.
- Assist with scheduling, data entry, and general office administration.
- Support management with administrative tasks and special projects as required.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative or office experience preferred.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, or warehousing is considered an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), Google Suite, and Adobe PDF.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional and customer-focused attitude.
Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
