Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Used Car Salesman/woman to join our automotive dealership team. The ideal candidate will excel in outside sales, possess excellent negotiation and communication skills, and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves engaging with customers to understand their needs, presenting high-end vehicles, and guiding them through the sales process to ensure a positive experience. Multilingual abilities, especially bilingual in Spanish, are highly valued to serve our diverse clientele effectively. The successful candidate will play a key role in building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, upselling premium vehicles, and supporting dealership sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective buyers through outside sales efforts and B2B sales strategies
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to recommend suitable vehicles
- Negotiate pricing and terms to close deals efficiently while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline to meet or exceed monthly targets
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer value and dealership revenue
- Maintain thorough knowledge of current inventory, features, and market trends
- Support marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing clients
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly via phone or in person
- Organize and document all sales activities using dealership management systems
- Assist in showroom operations, including vehicle demonstrations and test drives
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales, dealership sales, or high-end automotive sales preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client interactions simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation, upselling, and closing deals effectively
- Knowledge of sales management techniques and building a robust sales pipeline
- Customer-focused attitude with outstanding phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with marketing strategies related to automotive sales is advantageous
- Strong math skills for calculating payments, trade-in values, and financing options
