Introduction
Deltic Wash Force is Canada’s leading supplier of car wash equipment, installation, service, and car wash chemical with over 40 years industry experience supporting the needs of current car wash operators and new-to-industry organizations. We provide a full range of car wash services including design, installation, service and support, and car wash chemical.
As we grow, we are looking to compliment our field installation and service team with the addition of two (2) Senior Installation Technicians. Candidates must posses a proven track record of experience, knowledge and skill in the installation and repair of industrial equipment in addition to leadership and customer service excellence skills. They are to be a hands-on professional responsible for delivering, assembling, wiring, troubleshooting and testing technical car wash equipment at existing and new to the industry client sites.
A skilled trades journeyman certificate in any of the following skilled trades such as Industrial Millwrighting, Plumbing, Industrial electricity, Welding, Heavy Equipment Repair and/or Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) or equivalent in education and experience is required.
Hourly pay rate will depend on skilled trade certification and experience.
Responsibilities:
- Complete and efficient installation of carwash equipment at brand new car wash sites.
- Removal and replacement of wash equipment at existing customer sites.
- Test and troubleshoot installation of new/replacement equipment including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, variable frequency drives and programmable logic controls ensuring optimal operation, ideal car washing quality and customer satisfaction.
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, forklift, and jacks to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of equipment.
- Assist with the preparation of equipment and accessories prior to installation.
- Assist with our customer car wash chemical needs by installing and maintaining their chemical equipment and chemical products
- Provide support to the other installation and service team members with service calls
- Always maintain a safety mindset while meeting the safety standards of the Company, our customers, the industry, and as per government safety legislation.
- Some confined space work may be required.
- Manual lifting of up to 60 lbs with frequent bending, standing, twisting
- Working outdoors in at times challenging conditions including extreme temperatures, wind, rain and snow
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- The flexibility to travel on a regular basis to car wash sites throughout Ontario with up to 4 nights away per week as required for installation and/or service work.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in the same or similar role of installation, troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment including pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and mechanical equipment.
- A journeyman certificate (or equivalent in education and experience) in any of the following skilled trades such as Industrial Millwrighting, Plumbing, Industrial electricity, Welding, Heavy Equipment Repair and/or Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) would be required.
- Computer literacy.
- The ability to work under pressure and handle stress, meet tight deadlines and the flexibility to adapt to last minute changes.
- Ability to read and understand equipment and site drawings.
- Ability to deal in a sensitive, tactful, positive and professional manner with customers, suppliers, contractors and coworkers at all times.
- Ability to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis and to consistently work in physically demanding and extreme weather environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $32.00-$45.00 per hour
