Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator (Level 2/Level 3 – certification required) to join our team. The successful candidate will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment while supporting children’s developmental and educational needs through age-appropriate and innovative teaching practices.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities
- Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Communicate effectively with parents and team members
- Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Alberta Early Childhood Educator Level 2/Level 3 certification (required)
- Previous childcare or classroom experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Bilingual (English) skills considered an asset, especially in diverse settings
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting wage: $22.05/hour -$27.62/hour(including Alberta Child Care Top-Up)
