Junior Machine Operator (Rotating 12-Hour Shift).
Seaside Paper Products is recruiting for a Junior Machine Operator, that will work our 12-hour rotating shift. The hours of work are 6:30 am-6:30 pm and the shifts average to 80 hours over a bi-weekly period.
The Junior Machine Operator is responsible to:

Read and understand specification sheets.

Be able to set up a job on a machine.

Be able to run a machine independently with little supervision.

Be able to problem-solve production inconsistencies and make adjustments to a machine.
You need to:

Be available to work on our 12-hour rotating shift.

Be Legally eligible to work in Canada at the time of application. No sponsorships are available.

Proven Mechanical Aptitude. Please ensure your resume reflects your experience with tools and machines.

Have experience running a machine (controlling speed, troubleshooting, quality control).

Good with tools.

Able to work and think quickly to keep up with machine speed.

Be able to stand for long periods of time.

Own transportation is recommended as Transit is not reliably available to our location.
The Shift:

This position will work from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. No evening or overnight shifts.

Alternating 3-day weekends off (Fri, Sat, Sun).

Averages 80 over 2 weeks (one week you will work 3 days, the next week you will work 4 days).
We offer:

Hourly rate of $21-$22 to start. Increase after 3-month probation.
