Looking for an installer and Laborer to install various metal roofing systems, install strapping, rip the shingles and prep the roof in.
Responsibilities for Roofer
· Lay new Metal Roofing systems.
· Inspect roofing for damage and perform any needed repairs
Qualifications for Roofer
· Physical fitness level that will allow for carry tools and materials up and down ladders, climbing, bending and lifting heavy loads
· Previous experience in roofing, construction or related scope of work
· Communication and teamwork skills including an openness to receiving feedback from superiors
· General knowledge of roofing procedures, techniques and specialties
· Strong work ethic and desire to perform quality work
· Ability to read and follow instructions from blueprints, drawings and diagrams
· Endurance to spend hours working in extreme weather conditions such as heat or cold
Job Responsibilities
· Repair roofs, including filling in holes, replacing missing shingles and flashing, working on the chimney, removing water damaged pieces and more
· Install new roofs by measuring the current dimensions of the house and cutting the roofing materials to ensure a perfect fit
· Establish scaffolding and other pieces of safety equipment, and ensure everyone on the worksite is always working in a safe, secure mannerp
