Position Summary
Glenmore Custom Print + Packaging is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Material Handler to work weekdays from 10:30am to 7:00pm to support our production and warehouse operations. This is a hands-on role responsible for moving materials, preparing materials for production, receiving incoming goods, and picking orders accurately and efficiently.
The successful candidate must be comfortable operating forklifts and other powered material-handling equipment. A valid Class 5 driver’s licence is also required, as the employee may occasionally be asked to make urgent local deliveries using a company truck.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered material-handling equipment
- Move raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods throughout the facility
- Prepare and stage materials for production according to production schedules and job requirements
- Pick, organize, and prepare customer orders for shipment or delivery
- Receive incoming materials and verify quantities and condition against shipping documents
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate material movement and inventory records
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory organization as required
- Make occasional urgent local deliveries using a company truck
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and production areas
- Follow all safety procedures and report damaged materials, equipment issues, or inventory discrepancies
- Support production, shipping, receiving, and warehouse activities as needed
Qualifications
- Previous material-handling, warehouse, shipping and receiving, or manufacturing experience is preferred
- Experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts
- Valid forklift certification is preferred; additional training may be provided
- Valid BC Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely use powered material-handling equipment
- Ability to lift and move materials as required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow production schedules, work instructions, and safety procedures
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Compensation: $22.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated equipment-operating skills.
