Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo, utilizing equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of products, adhering to schedules
- Assist with moving items within warehouses or storage facilities as needed
- Maintain proper documentation for deliveries and pickups
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status or issues
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations during transportation
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
Skills
- Experience in warehouse operations, including moving and handling heavy items
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment (nice-to-have)
- Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and customer engagement
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Prior experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license
- Good organizational skills to manage routes and schedules effectively
