Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals according to menu specifications, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste
- Assist with menu planning and ingredient sourcing to meet dietary needs and preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other culinary tools
- Support catering events and special meal services as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient meal preparation and service
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Uphold excellent customer service by serving guests professionally and courteously
Requirements
- Previous experience in dietary departments, culinary roles, or food service environments preferred
- Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
- Experience in fine dining, restaurant settings, or catering is advantageous
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation and food handling
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to adapt to various shifts or schedules as needed
