Overview
We are seeking a skilled AZ Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating commercial trucks across various routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery of freight. All routes are day trips. Home every day! The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism, with experience in heavy equipment operation and automotive repair being advantageous. Duties
- Safely operate AZ commercial trucks to transport freight over short and long distances
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams
- Assist with freight handling, including securing loads and verifying cargo integrity
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle operability
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities
- Operate heavy equipment responsibly when required for loading or unloading operations
Requirements
- Valid AZ commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulatory compliance in transportation
- Physical ability to load, unload, and secure freight.
- Excellent communication skills and reliability in adhering to schedules
Pay: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
