Technical Lead (IT Services)

About the Role
We’re looking for a Technical Lead who can balance strong technical execution with team leadership. This is a hands-on role where you will be in the field, solving complex issues, leading projects, and supporting other technicians.
What You’ll Do
- Provide guidance and escalation support to technicians
- Deliver onsite and remote IT support
- Lead IT projects (server installs, migrations, network upgrades)
- Troubleshoot complex server and network issues
- Maintain Microsoft environments (Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange)
- Work with firewalls, VPNs, routers, switches, and wireless networks
- Maintain documentation (tickets, KBs, network diagrams)
- Communicate directly with clients
What You Bring
- 4+ years of hands-on IT support experience
- Strong Microsoft environment experience
- Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs)
- Server setup and backup systems experience
- Project management and follow-through
- Strong communication skills
Nice to Have
- Microsoft, Cisco, or CompTIA certifications
- Leadership experience
- MSP experience
- Structured cabling experience
