The Customer Service Agent actively contributes to achieving the goals of our dynamic and devoted Industrial Customer Service team by managing client’s requests and purchase orders. Our clients are mostly distributors and transformers from four main sectors; Industrial, Ingredients, Retail Trade and Food Service. The Agent acts as an expert of the accounts for which he is responsible. Autonomy and rigor are mandatory qualities while demonstrating adaptability, versatility and openness to change.
Specifically, the Agent will have the following responsibilities:
Handles different tasks related to orders entry and shipments as:
- Inputting orders;
- Allocation and validation of inventory supplies;
- Management of the transition process: deplete products and new products launch;
- Follow up and communication with internal departments;
- File monitoring and problem solving;
- Analysing and codification of the replenishment, rushes and back orders;
- Collecting information for complaints, returns and credits.
Ensures the accuracy and integrity of the information required to produce, process, ship and deliver orders for reason of quality and scheduling purposes;
Communicates and assures a follow-up throughout the handling of the ordering process with both the client and internal departments;
Takes charge of the daily priorities and demonstrates an added value approach with our clients;
Consolidates business process and supports the optimization of improvement projects.
College degree or University degree in Business Administration or other relevant field;
1 to 2 years of experience in customer service;
Excellent skills French and English, spoken and written are mandatory;
Good aptitude of IT fields, as MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel and Word) & knowledge of Oracle system considered an asset;
Experience or knowledge in food-processing or industrial business considered as an asset.
