Job Description:
We are a small appointment-based automotive service repair shop located in Ladner / Delta, BC. We specialize in out-of-warranty BMW and MINI maintenance, diagnostics, brake service, fluid service, leak diagnosis, pre-purchase inspections.
We are looking to build long-term working relationships with experienced European vehicle technicians for part-time, casual, or contract-based work.
This opportunity is suitable for technicians who are looking for flexible part-time or contract work. Work is scheduled by appointment based on technician availability and customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnosis, inspections, maintenance, and repair work on BMW and MINI vehicles
- Provide clear technical recommendations
- Communicate repair timelines, parts needs, and unexpected findings
- Provide basic repair notes and photos when needed
- Complete work professionally and safely
Common Jobs May Include:
- Brake service
- Oil and fluid service
- Spark plugs
- Battery replacement
- Cooling system repairs
- Suspension work
- Leak diagnosis and repair
- Pre-purchase inspections
- General BMW / MINI diagnostics
- Out-of-warranty maintenance
Ideal Candidate:
- Dealership experience working on BMW, MINI, or European vehicles
- Red Seal or Journeyman Automotive service technician Certificate
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills using BMW diag software ISTA
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Able to work independently
- Own tools preferred
- Available for flexible part-time or contract work
- Comfortable with hourly or project-based compensation
- Able to communicate clearly and professionally
Compensation:
$60–$80 per hour, depending on experience, skill level, and job complexity.
Additional parts-related bonus may be available on eligible jobs. Details will be discussed during the interview.
Pay: $65.00-$80.00 per hour
