Overview of the Position

As a Team Leader (Store Manager) at Princess Auto you will create a fun, safe and unique shopping experience for our customers. We call it Royal Service. You will typically spend your day executing store plans to achieve financial goals, manage day-to-day operations, support Team Members in the resolution of customer concerns, administer health and safety procedures and loss prevention protocols.

You will spend time on the sales floor on a daily basis, working alongside your Team Members to understand and assess their working conditions, performance and other needs. You will need to create team-building opportunities to shape a strong team that will produce strong results.

You will be accountable for recruiting, hiring, training and mentoring Team Members and helping create succession plans to grow their careers with Princess Auto. You will manage and complete performance reviews and coach Team Members to ensure they are successful in their roles.

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

Have the ability to provide direction and motivate a team
Be committed to continuous learning, with the ability to train and coach others
Have a minimum of four years’ leadership experience in retail or another service industry
Have strong financial acumen; be able to work within a budget; and have had success maximizing sales and profitability
