In this position, you will be responsible for leading product strategy, market intelligence, competitive analysis, pricing, vehicle launch support, and product localization for the Canadian passenger vehicle market, directly contributing to the growth and success of our partner company.

Product Manager Responsibilities
- Lead market research and competitive analysis across the Canadian automotive market, including consumer trends, pricing, incentives, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
- Monitor competitor vehicles, pricing strategies, sales performance, and market positioning
- Develop product benchmarking, market intelligence reports, and pricing recommendations
- Analyze vehicle segments, customer demand, and market trends to support product planning and business strategy
- Monitor product sales performance, market share, customer acceptance, and product lifecycle performance
- Support product pricing, positioning, and profitability strategies
- Lead and coordinate vehicle launch activities across Canada
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, PR, Network Development, Aftersales, Operations, Engineering, Compliance, and Supply Chain teams
- Manage launch timelines, product information, training materials, approvals, and supporting assets
- Gather feedback from customers, dealers, industry partners, and regulatory stakeholders to support product localization
- Translate Canadian market requirements into actionable recommendations for global product teams
- Support annual business planning, forecasting, and product roadmap discussions
- Present market trends, product performance, competitive developments, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
Product Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Management, Product Planning, Product Marketing, or a related automotive function
- Automotive industry experience is required
- Automotive OEM experience is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of the Canadian passenger vehicle market, consumer trends, and competitive landscape
- Experience with market research, competitive benchmarking, pricing analysis, and product strategy
- Experience supporting vehicle launches, product planning, or market intelligence activities
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools
- Ability to work effectively with both Canadian and global stakeholders
- English fluency required; French and/or Mandarin are considered strong assets
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within Canada as required
