We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Die Polisher to join our manufacturing team. Reporting to the Lead Hand, you will be responsible for deburring, polishing, and pre-assembling large aluminum extrusion dies and components using a variety of hand tools, grinders, and lifting equipment. This role requires a strong focus on quality, safety, and precision while working with dies weighing up to 600 lbs and measuring up to 52 inches in diameter.
This is a physically demanding position involving repetitive motions, extensive standing, and the application of pressure while using hand tools and polishing equipment.
- Deburr and polish large extrusion dies and components using various hand tools, grinders, and polishing equipment to meet company quality standards.

Pre-assemble large die components and sub-assemblies using overhead cranes for further machining operations.

Prepare tooling and components for subcontract operations, including packaging and shipping preparation.

Review drawings, sketches, specifications, and tooling requirements for each job.

Inspect surface finishes to ensure compliance with company standards and verify plating quality prior to buffing.

Operate overhead cranes to safely lift, transport, and position heavy materials and assemblies.

Operate machinery and equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Report drawing discrepancies, non-conformances, or equipment issues to the Lead Hand.

Accurately record work performed by clocking in and out of jobs on daily time cards.

Assist other departments and support special projects as required.

Follow all company policies, safety standards, ISO procedures, and work instructions.
- Physically demanding work requiring the application of pressure while using hand tools.

Frequent lifting, repetitive movements, bending, and prolonged standing.

Exposure to dust, metal particles, and polishing compounds.

Required use of company-provided personal protective equipment (PPE).
- 2–5 years of experience polishing large dies, molds, or similar tooling.

Experience using hand tools, grinders, and polishing equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Basic blueprint reading skills are considered an asset.

Overhead crane and lift truck experience preferred.
