Youth & Family Supervisor - Full-time

We are seeking an experienced and service-oriented leader to oversee the Youth & Family Department. This highly visible role is responsible for creating exceptional family experiences, leading a dynamic team, and delivering programs and events that reflect the high standards of one of Canada's premier private clubs. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in developing youth programs and events, and a genuine passion for serving families.
This full-time position typically works Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. As it is a member-focused role, flexibility is required to meet the needs of the department. Hours will vary based on seasonal programming, camps, special events, and operational requirements, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, development, coordination, promotion, implementation, and evaluation of all Youth Department programs, services, and events, ensuring exceptional member experiences and operational excellence.
- Oversee the daily operation of the Youth Department, ensuring facilities, equipment, staffing levels, and programs consistently meet Club standards for safety, quality, and member experience.
- Provide leadership for all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, training, scheduling, coaching, performance management, and staff development, while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and exceptional member service.
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all in-house and ‘Home Away from Home’ youth and family events, including budgeting, logistics, staffing, communications, vendor coordination, and cross-departmental collaboration to deliver exceptional member experiences.
- Responsible for the overall management of the Youth Department’s annual budget
- Attend regular meetings with the Recreation Services team, and other meetings as required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional member and guest experiences, with a strong understanding of hospitality and service excellence.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience working with children and youth in a recreational, educational, camp, hospitality, or family-focused environment.
- Proven experience developing, coordinating, and evaluating programs, services, and events for children, youth, and families.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in hospitality, private clubs, event planning, teaching, or family programming is strongly preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment while maintaining a positive, professional, and solutions-oriented approach.
- Must be able to perform the full range of tasks and responsibilities as required by the position.
- Emergency First Aid Certification is required.
