We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. As a Pet Bather, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and grooming services to our furry clients. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Bath, brush, and dry pets according to specific grooming instructions
- Trim nails, clean ears as needed
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during the bathing process
- Monitor pets for any signs of distress or health issues and report them to the appropriate staff member
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bathing area
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with animals is a must
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with pet owners
- Ability to handle heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) when assisting with larger pets
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow grooming instructions accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and patient demeanor
Please note that this position will require standing for extended periods of time and working Saturdays
