We are hiring new and experienced high rise rope access technicians for exterior building maintenance. Main tasks include window cleaning, pressure washing, and dryer vent cleaning. Candidates with no window cleaning or rope access experience are welcome to apply.
Overview:
Champion Window Cleaning is a Burnaby based building maintenance company specialising in window cleaning, pressure washing, dryer vent cleaning, and gutter cleaning for both strata and commercial customers. With over 25 years in the industry, we have job sites all over the lower mainland. We are looking for new or experienced rope access technicians to join our rope crew to help us continue to provide quality exterior building maintenance services to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Exterior building maintenance duties include window cleaning, pressure washing, dryer vent cleaning, and building cleaning
- Work safely and efficiently
- Communicate respectfully and effectively with co-workers, customers, and building managers
- Complete paperwork at the start of each job
- Personal Safety: Inspect and maintain personal gear
- Keep a tidy work area
- Public safety: use of control zones and appropriate tethers
- Participation in operations and safety meetings
- Carry out tasks to a professional and high quality standard
Requirements:
- Minimum SPRAT or IRATA level 1*
- First Aid and Fall Protection certifications an asset
- Previous experience working in an outdoor, labour intensive field an asset
- Comfortable working at heights
- Good communicator
- Good work ethic
*Negotiable. Without SPRAT or IRATA certification your exterior building maintenance training will begin on the ground but we will pay for SPRAT or IRATA training for the right candidate.
