We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in installing, finishing, and repairing drywall surfaces on various commercial and residential projects. Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and install drywall panels according to project specifications and blueprints
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying necessary materials such as caulking or joint compound
- Finish drywall seams with taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing to achieve a seamless surface
- Assist with other construction tasks including carpentry, painting, or handyman duties as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris removal on-site
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
Experience
- Prior construction experience, particularly in drywall installation or finishing, is highly desirable
- Knowledge of construction painting, caulking, and general handyman skills is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical instructions confidently
- Hands-on experience with carpentry tools and techniques
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Physical stamina to stand, lift heavy materials, and perform manual tasks throughout the workday
Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
