About Us
Principle Athletic Performance is a multidisciplinary performance facility dedicated to helping athletes and active individuals move better, perform better, and live fuller.
Our model combines physiotherapy, performance coaching, and long-term athlete development within a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional outcomes.
We believe that great organisations are built by great people. Through mentorship, education, and clear career pathways, we are committed to developing professionals who want to build meaningful careers while making a lasting impact on those they serve.
About the Role
The Physical Preparation Coach is responsible for delivering high-quality strength and conditioning coaching within a performance-focused training environment. This role focuses on developing athletic qualities including strength, speed, power, conditioning, and movement quality through both individual and group training sessions.
Physical Preparation Coaches work as part of an integrated performance team alongside physiotherapists and rehabilitation staff to ensure training aligns with athlete development, injury risk reduction, and return-to-performance pathways.
This is a hands-on coaching role with a strong emphasis on athlete development, coaching quality, and continuous professional growth.
What Makes Principle Different
We are building integrated athlete development differently. Unlike traditional gyms or coaching environments, our strength coaches and physiotherapists work together from day one. This means:
Your programming is informed by rehabilitation data and athlete return-to-play timelines. You see the full athlete development picture, not just gym performance. You contribute to systems and culture, not just deliver sessions. Your compensation is transparent, predictable, and rewards quality work. You have genuine input into how we develop our programs and grow our team
We believe that great organisations are built by great people. Your expertise, creativity, and commitment directly shape what we build.
