The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Underground Water & Sewer Supervisor to lead medium to large-scale Landfill underground utility project in the Lac La Biche area.
This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands deep underground construction, and can drive productivity, safety, and project success from start to finish.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Lead and manage underground water & sewer installation projects (deep utilities, tie-ins, complex scopes)
- Oversee crews, subcontractors, and equipment to ensure efficient execution
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients
- Ensure strict compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Manage project schedules, productivity, and daily reporting
- Support project planning, estimating, and business development efforts
- Identify risks and proactively solve problems in the field
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, inspectors, and stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 7+ years experience in deep underground water & sewer construction
- Proven experience managing medium to large-scale civil projects
- Strong understanding of:
- Trenching and shoring systems
- Pipe installation (storm, sanitary, watermain)
- Grade control and specifications
- Civil construction sequencing
- Demonstrated leadership and crew management ability
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to travel and work in remote or rotational environments
- Valid driver’s license (Class 5 minimum; Class 1 an asset)
