Responsibilities
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform construction, repair, and maintenance tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accurate project execution
- Perform carpentry duties including framing, trimming, and installing fixtures
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure weatherproofing and durability of structures
- Conduct heavy lifting as required for material handling and installation processes
- Assist with general maintenance person duties such as patching, painting, and minor repairs
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope
Experience
- Proven experience with hand tools, carpentry, construction, or maintenance person work is highly preferred
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpretation is essential
- Experience with caulking, sealing, or related finishing techniques is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Prior experience in construction or related trades demonstrates strong practical knowledge
- Physical stamina for demanding tasks including prolonged standing, climbing, and lifting heavy materials
