Job Overview
We are seeking friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Front of House Staff to join our vibrant restaurant team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and manage seating arrangements to optimize flow and comfort
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS, and process payments with cash handling proficiency
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about menu items and making recommendations
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained throughout service
- Assist with food preparation and serving as needed to support kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations in accordance with sanitation guidelines
- Handle cashiering duties including processing transactions and giving accurate change
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus but not mandatory
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
- Excellent time management abilities to handle high-volume periods efficiently
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and evenings if necessary
- Kitchen experience or food industry knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory
