As part of the opening team, you will play an integral role in shaping the culture, service standards, and guest experience of one of Niagara's premier dining destinations.
Position Summary
Terrain Restaurant is seeking energetic, detail-oriented, and hospitality-driven Full-Time PM Server Assistants to join our opening team.
This is a high-impact hybrid support role responsible for ensuring seamless service across the dining room, bar, and room service operations. Server Assistants are essential to maintaining service flow, supporting elevated guest experiences, and ensuring all operational details are executed to luxury hospitality standards.
This role includes polishing, bussing, food running, barbacking, bar prep support, and room service deliveries, all while maintaining a polished and professional guest-facing presence.

Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & Service Support
- Support servers and bartenders to ensure seamless and elevated guest experiences.
- Deliver food and beverages accurately, efficiently, and with polished presentation.
- Assist with guest engagement and table support when interacting on the floor.
- Respond quickly and professionally to guest and team needs.
- Ensure guests receive attentive, timely, and refined service throughout their experience.
Floor, Bar & Room Service Operations
- Run food from kitchen to dining room with accuracy and urgency.
- Deliver room service orders to guest rooms with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently while maintaining luxury presentation standards.
- Support bar operations through barbacking duties, including restocking, ice, glassware, and garnishes.
- Assist with bar prep including juicing, batching, stocking, and mise en place.
- Polish glassware, cutlery, and service ware to Forbes-level presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all service stations and guest-facing areas.
Operational Excellence
- Maintain immaculate cleanliness and organization of all service areas.
- Support opening, running, and closing side work as required.
- Ensure all stations are fully stocked and prepared for peak service periods.
- Assist in maintaining smooth communication between kitchen, bar, and service teams.
- Follow all service procedures and operational standards consistently.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in upscale dining, luxury hotels, or high-volume restaurant environments is an asset.
- Strong understanding of restaurant service flow and hospitality standards.
- Experience with food running, bussing, or support roles considered an asset.
- Barback or bar support experience is an asset.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Ability to take direction and work proactively without supervision.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
