We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. Duties
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly as a bartender
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations for billing
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in all areas of service, including food handling and sanitation procedures
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Assist in setting up dining areas, refilling supplies, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the restaurant environment
- Uphold food industry standards for serving alcohol responsibly and adhering to food safety regulations
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required; training will be provided for those new to the food industry
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and billing purposes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- Hospitality mindset with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
- Must be at least 18 years old (or age required by local regulations)
