We are currently seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team. We offer a full-time position for friendly, reliable, and customer-focused individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Position Overview
The Food & Beverage Supervisor supports the delivery of exceptional dining and hospitality experiences for our members and guests. Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Manager, this role provides leadership and direction to the F&B team during service, ensuring high standards of service, presentation, professionalism, and member satisfaction.
The Supervisor helps maintain smooth daily operations while fostering a welcoming, polished, and team-oriented private club environment.
You will play an important role in delivering attentive, professional service while maintaining the high standards of hospitality associated with the Club.
Schedule
Hours and shifts will vary based on the needs of the Club and business levels. The position requires flexibility to work morning, mid, or evening shifts, including weekends and special events as required.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure prompt, efficient, and friendly service for private members and their guests.
- Review function sheets for upcoming daily events.
- Oversee the execution of member/private events.
- Communicate direction to staff members to ensure the prompt delivery of food and beverages to members and guests.
- Assist with setting tables for banquets and dining areas.
- Assist with cleaning and polishing cutlery and glassware as needed.
- Ensure rooms are ready before guests arrive for their events.
- Ensure constant interaction and quality checks with members and guests.
- Assist management in ensuring all employees are knowledgeable and compliant with Club standards and procedures.
- Ensure servers are always presenting themselves correctly and adhering to uniform and dress code standards.
- Lead servers accordingly by assigning tasks and setups.
- Establish, communicate, and uphold standards of service.
- Communicate daily with kitchen and service managers/supervisors.
- Ensure opening and closing procedures are followed.
- Help identify performance gaps and collaborate with managers to develop and implement appropriate training procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced food and beverage or hospitality environment required.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a restaurant, hotel, private club, or similar hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, guest relations, and daily service operations.
- Experience leading, coaching, and supporting a front-of-house team in a high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of service, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Experience handling member or guest concerns with professionalism, discretion, and a solutions-focused approach.
- Private club or upscale/luxury hospitality experience is considered an asset.
