Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Non-profit Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting our organization's mission, engaging with the community, and providing essential support to our programs. Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for community members and stakeholders, providing information about our programs and services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local organizations, businesses, and volunteers to foster collaboration and support.
- Assist in organizing events, workshops, and outreach initiatives to raise awareness of our mission.
- Provide technical support for office operations, including troubleshooting computer hardware and software issues.
- Manage office equipment and ensure proper functioning of computer networking systems (LAN/VPN).
- Support the implementation of operating systems and IT solutions that enhance organizational efficiency.
- Document interactions and maintain accurate records using tools such as Remedy for tracking inquiries and support requests.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment on goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a customer service or representative role, preferably within a non-profit environment.
- Strong technical skills related to computer hardware, networking (LAN/VPN), operating systems, and IT support.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in using office software applications for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
- A passion for non-profit work and a commitment to serving the community.
- Familiarity with technical support processes is a plus.
