Duties
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, filling, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat using spray guns and other power tools with precision and attention to detail
- Inspect vehicles for imperfections and perform touch-ups or corrections as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained
- Assist with minor mechanical repairs or adjustments when necessary to support overall vehicle restoration
- Follow safety protocols consistently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
Requirements
- Previous dealership or automotive body shop experience is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle repair processes
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment used in autobody prep and painting
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large vehicle parts or materials
- Knowledge of automotive repair techniques and procedures to ensure proper surface preparation and finishing
- Mechanic experience is a plus, providing a broader understanding of vehicle systems
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to quality control

Pay: $20.88-$38.94 per hour
Work Location: In person
