Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gardener for Spring clean-up. The ideal candidate will have a passion for plants and landscaping, with the ability to maintain and enhance outdoor spaces. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for planting, pruning, and maintaining garden beds.
- Identify and manage weeds, pests, and diseases in the garden.
- Assist in the design and installation of new garden areas or landscape features.
- Maintain cleanliness of tools and equipment after use to ensure longevity and safety.
Experience
- Previous experience in gardening or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with using both hand tools (such as shovels, rakes, and pruners) and power tools (such as lawnmowers and trimmers) is essential.
- A strong understanding of plant care, including soil management, fertilization, and pest control methods is beneficial.
