Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service. Duties
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including interviewing and training new team members
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling to ensure quality standards are met
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards
- Coordinate kitchen operations, including food safety protocols and kitchen experience management
- Monitor customer service quality, address guest concerns promptly, and enhance overall dining experience
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
- Supervise inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing restaurant resources efficiently
- Oversee restaurant operations during shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies
- Implement staff schedules, manage team performance, and foster a positive work environment
- Maintain hospitality standards by ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership roles
- Strong supervisory skills with previous supervising experience in a hospitality setting
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
- Ability to manage team members effectively through leadership and team management skills
- Experience with interviewing, hiring, and training staff members
- Familiarity with restaurant operations including food industry standards, serving protocols, and hospitality practices
