Kraken Robotics is currently recruiting for an Intermediate Electrical Technologist at our Dartmouth, NS office.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the design and development of electrical systems, circuits, and components for various projects.

Assist in the testing of printed circuit boards (PCBs) for electronic systems, ensuring functionality and reliability.

Designing wiring harnesses and cable assemblies for electrical systems, considering factors such as signal integrity, thermal management, and EMC/EMI compliance.

Assisting electrical engineering projects from concept to completion.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, firmware engineers, and product designers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other components.

Developing test plans and procedures, conducting testing, and performing validation to ensure the reliability and performance of electrical systems.

Participate in the design review process.

Review of engineering deliverables.

Work with the Production department to provide technical assistance during the manufacturing process.

Understand project requirements and provide operational support while in the field.

Mentor Electrical Engineers and Technologists.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
-
Electrical Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent with 4+ years' experience.

Excellent design standards and strong troubleshooting skills.
-
Effectively focus on high level project objectives while executing detailed design tasks.

Incredible attention to detail.

Demonstrated technical skills along with a proven track record for success.

Experience in the design specification, installation and connection methods of electrical equipment.

Strong written and oral communications skills (technical reporting).
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Must be able to work independently, as well as effectively within a team environment.

High degree of organization, with the ability to prioritize task.
