Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Warehouse Helper to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse distribution activities, supporting order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and heavy equipment operation. Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments using forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and other heavy equipment
- Support order picking and packing processes to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment
- Conduct shipping and receiving tasks, verifying inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance on heavy machinery
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock, preparing pallets, and managing storage areas
- Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting, construction-related tasks, and when operating heavy equipment
Skills
- Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and other heavy equipment in a warehouse setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic machinery issues
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and order picking processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory management and order accuracy
