Concrete Plant Manager – Full Time
Location: Peace River, Alberta
Ruel Concrete Ltd is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Concrete Plant Manager to join our team in Peace River, Alberta. This is a full-time, year-round position with strong growth opportunity within our company.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing precast production and inventory
- Operating and managing the Peace River concrete batch plant
- Handling client calls, customer service, and concrete sales
- Preparing quotes, organizing bid boards, and ensuring follow-up
- Dispatching concrete trucks and pump truck
- Ordering cement powder, ad-mixtures, and materials
- Coordinating with dispatch and maintaining bin levels
- Daily invoicing and paperwork management
- Hiring, training, and supervision of staff
- Managing hot water sales and steam generator operations
- Ensuring equipment and yard areas are clean and maintained
- Supporting portable pour division and working with other management
- Attending daily management meetings
- Ensuring safety standards and operational efficiencies are met
Qualifications:
- Experience in concrete or construction industry preferred
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Class 5 license (Class 3 an asset but not mandatory)
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and manage maintenance scheduling
- Computer skills and understanding of invoicing and quoting systems
Compensation and Benefits:

Work Schedule:
April to October: Monday to Friday 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Saturdays as required
November to March: Monday to Thursday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, weekends off unless required for concrete
