What is the Opportunity?

Reporting to the Snr Manager Cyber Control Assurance, you will provide Cyber Security, IT Risk expertise within RBC. This involves our third party engagements and enterprise applications.

What will you do?

Working with stakeholders, you will perform IT Risk assessments to determine points of non-compliance and provide insight into the risks identified.
Participation in Security Reviews, Walkthroughs and Risk Assessments
Participation in the Security Exemption approval process
Provide security awareness to RBC Groups when called upon
Assess security of our RBC Financial outsourcing initiatives including onsite inspections and review of physical and logical controls
Provide support to other consultants through mentoring and peer reviews of work products as required
Provide ad hoc consulting services to the general user community
Track and archive application security documents

What do you need to succeed?

Must - have

CISSP/CISA Required
Experience with conducting Security Assessments
Expert knowledge of Security Policies and Standards; Information Security Practices
Proficient knowledge of compliance, audit and privacy policies and regulations
Extensive knowledge of cyber security technologies like access control solutions, authentication, network security, cryptography, PCI, privacy and data classification/protection
Ability to communicate to all levels within the organization as required

Nice-to-have

ISO 27002 General knowledge of RBC Technology Security Standards & Practices
Previous experience working with IT Risk in financial institution similar to RBC
Experience with Application Control Assessments
