Position Summary:
The Data Integrations Specialist reports to the Data & Development Manager and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the extraction, transformation and loading of data between systems. The successful candidate should possess deep technical knowledge in database design and ETL/ELT processes. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a team to build a data warehouse infrastructure.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work with business analysts, data architects and internal stakeholders to plan and orchestrate end to end data integration solutions
- Analyze and translate functional specifications and user stories into technical specifications
- Research and implement new integration methodologies, processes, and procedures
- Collaborate with technical architects & leads, product owners, infrastructure support, QA and external teams
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements in existing integration processes
- Perform unit and integration testing to verify the implementation meets the requirements
- Documents functions and changes to new or modified modules, tests activities/results, error handling and backup/recovery procedures
- Execute projects through to completion
- Practice a user-centered approach to development

Technical Knowledge
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience with ETL tools and end to end implementations
- 3-5 years experience with Sql Server
- Solid hands-on experience with SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL and executing ETL
- Experience in writing and maintaining scripts (C#)
- Experience in designing, developing, testing and deploying complex data integrations
- Can design and interact with complex databases and integrate with other databases and systems using web services
- Experience with API and Web Services
- Knowledge of Azure Synapse, ADF or Snowflake an asset
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems an asset (AX 2012, D365 CE)
- Experience with MS Power Suite (Power BI, Power Automate, etc) an asset
Salary: $95K - $120K
