Project Coordinator
Role Overview
The Project Coordinator manages logistics, scheduling, and communication for diverse painting projects, including residential, commercial, interior, exterior, renovations, and new builds. This role acts as the main hub connecting clients, estimators, and paint crews. Company vehicle is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling & Dispatch: Coordinate project timelines and crew assignments across active jobsites.
- Client & Contractor Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact, providing progress updates, answering client questions, and coordinating with multiple painting crews.
- Job site wrap up; collection of company tools & equipment, trash, & job site boxes
- Material & Equipment Logistics: Order paint, sundries, and specialized equipment (e.g., scaffolding, lifts) to ensure materials arrive onsite before work begins.
- Manage main inventory, specific building inventory, and field inventory and report replenishment requests.
- Track equipment status and report gaps or maintenance needs.
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- Experience: 1–3 years in construction coordination, project administration, or a similar logistics role (experience in the painting or renovation industry is preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficient with scheduling tools, spreadsheets, and project management or CRM software.
- Adaptability: Ability to pivot quickly between the detailed needs of residential homeowners and the strict compliance requirements of commercial new builds.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills to manage diverse crews, general contractors, and residential clients.
- Must possess a clean & current Manitoba driver’s license: This role will be roughly 75% on the road to various jobsites around the city
- Ability to lift 28kg and work in a diverse range of settings, from office to residential customer homes, to commercial job sites
Compensation
- $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience
- Company vehicle with fleet card
- Production related performance bonus structure
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
