Job Description & Summary
A career in our Financial Instruments, Valuation and Governance practice, within Financial Markets Business Advisory services, will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to a variety of audit, regulatory, valuation, and financial analyses services to design solutions that address our clients’ complex accounting and financial reporting challenges, as well as their broader business issues.
Our team helps organisations with highly specialised transaction and valuation investments in the real estate capital markets. We focus on helping our clients become more comfortable in all areas of the real estate investment process by providing extensive market analysis through both econometric and statistical research.

As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include:
Providing audit support and advisory services
Completing and manage engagements with minimal supervision
Identifying and measurement of financial risk
Creating financial models using various programs
Writing proposals, reports, and presentations
Acquiring knowledge on complex accounting standards and working with clients to find solutions to their challenges
Use feedback and reflection to develop self awareness, personal strengths and address development areas
Delegate to others to provide stretch opportunities and coach to help deliver results
Review your work and that of others for quality, accuracy and relevance
Use straightforward communication, in a structured way, when influencing others
Able to read situations and modify behavior to build quality, diverse relationships
Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct
An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
Minimum 2 years of experience with financial derivatives modeling or credit loss forecasting/stress testing/capital models
Minimum 1 year of experience in consulting or advisory
Minimum 1 year of experience with creating financial models utilizing strong programming skills in C++, Python, Visual Basic, Matlab
Master's degree in Mathematical Finance, Statistics, Physics, Financial Engineering or similar quantitative discipline
Preferred PRM, FRM, or CFA designation
Extensive knowledge with pricing
Experience with modeling interest rate, FX, equity or credit risk
Superior quantitative and analytical skills
Ability to develop strong business development skills
Strong project management skills
French speaking considered asset
