Job Summary
The Grounds Crew plays a vital role in creating the aesthetic and functional aspects of outdoor spaces. This position involves a variety of tasks related to landscape. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with both hand tools and machinery, as well as a passion for working outdoors.
Responsibilities
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to maintain gardens and outdoor spaces.
- Irrigate plants and lawns as needed to ensure healthy growth.
- Dig, build, and maintain garden beds, pathways, and other landscaping features.
- Assist in planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while ensuring proper care techniques are followed.
- Maintain equipment by performing basic mechanical checks and routine maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Skills
- Strong understanding of landscape practices.
- Experience with hand tools for gardening tasks such as digging and building.
