Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prep parts
- Cut stock to required lengths.
- Operate machines and observe operations to make sure specifications are met.
- Check samples to make sure they conform to specifications.
- Utilize hand tools to position, secure, and align cutting tools in toolholders on machines, and use measuring instruments to verify the positions of tools.
- Set up and Run machines through cycles.
- Document all inventory used daily and maintain delivery deadlines.
Qualifications, Experience and Skill Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating machines
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Confident use of precision measuring equipment with ability to read micrometers and calipers.
- Have the knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
- Knowledge of Fanuc controls (Mitsubishi is an asset).
