We are looking for a superstar that can try and test thing to take things to the next level using proven and new idea strategies.
The Role
We are hiring a Growth Marketing Specialist to own the execution of our organic and content marketing across every channel. You will not manage anyone. You will not run a team. You will build things, ship things, publish things, measure things, and iterate. If you love the strategy conversation more than the doing, this role is not for you.
You will report directly to the CEO. You will have direct budget authority for tools and freelancer spend, and the autonomy to make and defend calls without a committee. AI tools are core to how we operate — you will be expected to use them heavily to move faster, but the taste and judgment for what actually gets published are yours.
What You Will Do
- Growth Hacker Mindset. In the evolving world of marketing and lead generation, think of innovative ways to grow leads.
- SEO and content. Own our SEO content pipeline. Implement a pillar-and-spoke content model. Use AI and other tools to draft, then edit, humanize, and publish. You are the one hitting publish, not asking someone else to.
- Digital marketing execution. Coordinate with our paid ads agency, review their work, and hold them accountable to KPIs. You are not managing them from above — you are the operator on our side of the table.
- Social media. Post regularly across LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram — whichever platforms move the needle for us. Build content calendars. Draft, schedule, publish, respond.
- Community marketing. Reddit, Facebook groups, industry forums. Find where our target customers ask questions and be there with useful answers (not spam). Build a presence.
- On-page SEO and technical. Keyword research, meta tags, internal linking, schema markup, page speed audits. You are comfortable in WordPress or wherever the CMS lives.
- Analytics and reporting. Fluent in GA4 and Search Console. Set up UTM tracking, monitor conversion events, produce weekly reports showing what is working.
- Freelancer coordination. When it makes sense, hire and coordinate freelance help for design, video, technical SEO work — but do not delegate the strategy or the final call.
Who You Are
- 2 to 4 years in a hands-on marketing role — content marketing, digital marketing, growth marketing. You have shipped things and can point to specific pieces of work that moved metrics.
- Comfortable with AI tools. You use AI daily. You know what AI drafts look like and how to make them not look like that. You can wield AI without being wielded by it.
- Strong writer and editor. You can turn an AI first draft into something a human would actually publish. Humanization is a skill you have practiced.
- On-page SEO fluent. You know your way around keyword research, meta tags, headings, internal linking, and schema. You do not need to be a technical SEO expert, but you understand the fundamentals.
- GA4 literate. You can read a GA4 report, set up UTM tracking, and identify which channels are converting.
- Comfortable working solo. You do not need daily direction. You take a project from concept to published without hand-holding. When you get stuck, you ask sharp specific questions, not vague ones.
- Builder mindset. You would rather ship something imperfect this week than perfect next quarter. You know Version 2 comes after Version 1, and Version 1 comes after publishing.
Nice to Have
- Direct financial services, fintech, or FX industry experience.
- Familiarity with WordPress.
- Experience running an SEO content workflow with AI (pillar and spoke, topic clusters).
- Experience with Reddit or niche community marketing done ethically.
What This Role Is NOT
Read this carefully — if these describe you, please do not apply:
- A management or team lead role. There is no team to manage. You are the team.
- A strategy-first role. We do not need someone to write a 40-page marketing plan. We need someone to publish 4 pieces of content this month.
- A big-agency job. If you are used to briefing five people to do work while you review it, you will hate this. You do the work.
- A place to build a career title. If titles matter more than execution to you, this role will frustrate you.
Compensation
Base salary: $60,000 to $85,000 CAD, commensurate with experience. Performance bonus tied to measurable growth metrics — organic traffic growth, content publishing cadence, channel conversion improvements. Benefits. Remote.
Why This Role
You will have direct access to the CEO, real budget authority, and the freedom to try things without committee approval. You will own your channels end-to-end.

Pay: $50,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
