Job Overview:
We are seeking a Line Cook/Prep Cook for the Cold side of the kitchen to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations within the food industry.
Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables.
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Monitor food stock
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar role is recommended but Willing to train
- Knowledge of best practices for food safety and handling
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks. Organization and multitasking a necessity. Very fast paced kitchen.
