Native Tongues Taqueria
We are looking for energetic, organized, and hospitality-driven people to join our Front of House team as Server Assistants, supporting both Host and Expo responsibilities.
This is a fast-paced and highly collaborative role that plays a major part in the overall guest experience. You will help create a smooth flow from the moment guests arrive, through food and drink service, until they leave the restaurant.
What You’ll Do
As a Server Assistant, you may work across different areas depending on the needs of the shift.
Host
- Welcome guests warmly and professionally
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists
- Assist with seating and table flow
- Communicate clearly with servers and management
- Support the water program and ensure guests are acknowledged quickly
- Help maintain an organized and welcoming entrance
Expo
- Support communication between the kitchen and Front of House
- Organize and run food accurately and efficiently
- Ensure dishes are presented correctly before leaving the kitchen
- Assist with takeout orders, packaging, and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized expo station
- Help control the pace and flow of food during busy services
Floor Support
- Run food and drinks
- Clear and reset tables
- Maintain clean and organized service stations
- Support servers and bartenders throughout service
- Stay aware of the entire restaurant and help wherever needed

- Availability for evenings and weekends
- Previous restaurant experience is an asset, but not required

Pay: $15.00-$21.79 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
