Reporting to the General Supervisor, Underground Mine, you will be part of the Mine department. You will be responsible for supporting all underground mining activities while ensuring safe, efficient, and data-driven execution of the mine plan. The role also includes coordinating activities and resources required to ensure a smooth transition to production. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and the environment.

Communicate production objectives and expectations at the start of each shift, and conduct end-of-shift reviews with frontline supervisors to assess performance against the plan, identify variances and implement corrective actions as required;

Work closely with internal departments, including Maintenance, Mining Engineering, Geology and Construction, to optimize planning, resource allocation, and operational execution;

Support the evaluation, implementation and optimization of underground mining technologies, automation initiatives, and operational systems to improve mine performance and support future growth;

Coach and mentor frontline supervisors to ensure consistent execution of departmental objectives, while supporting employee development, performance management, and workforce engagement initiatives.

Schedule: 21 days of work, followed by 21 days for transportation and rest; flights departing from Edmonton, AB and Yellowknife, NWT.
