We’re looking for friendly, dependable and enthusiastic Tour Guides who can bring Charlottetown and Prince Edward Island’s history, culture and natural beauty to life for visitors from around the world.
From Charlottetown’s historic streets to PEI’s famous coastline, scenic countryside and hidden gems, you’ll help guests experience the Island through the eyes of someone who knows and loves it.

Training and Ongoing Support

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Tour Guide, you will:
- Welcome guests and create a positive first impression
- Provide safe and reliable roundtrip transportation
- Lead small groups of one to six guests
- Visit Charlottetown and PEI’s landmarks, attractions and scenic locations
- Share entertaining stories, local history and interesting facts
- Assist guests with attraction tickets, reservations and tour logistics
- Keep tours running safely, smoothly and on schedule
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience from beginning to end
Who We’re Looking For
You may be a great fit if you:
- Have a valid driver’s licence and clean driving record
- Can provide a driver’s abstract
- Are comfortable driving while engaging with guests
- Have strong communication, storytelling and public-speaking skills
- Are confident speaking to small groups for several hours
- Are friendly, dependable and punctual
- Take pride in delivering excellent customer service
- Love Prince Edward Island and are excited to show others what makes it special
- Are available to work weekends, holidays and during peak tourism seasons
Previous experience in tourism, hospitality, rideshare driving, customer service or public speaking is an asset—but a positive attitude and willingness to learn matter most.

- Pay: $18.50 per hour, plus tips
- Payment schedule: Biweekly
- Schedule: Flexible shifts between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
- Shift options: 4, 8 or 12 hours, based on tour operations
- Job types: Full-time, part-time and seasonal
- Work location: In person, departing from Charlottetown, PEI
- Start date: Immediate openings available
