Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Millwork Project Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in managing and coordinating millwork projects from inception to completion, ensuring seamless communication across departments and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, and experience with ERP systems to facilitate efficient project execution. Responsibilities
- Coordinate all phases of millwork projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution to meet project deadlines and specifications.
- Collaborate with design, production, and supply chain teams to ensure materials and resources are available for manufacturing processes.
- Utilize SAP, Oracle, and other ERP systems to track project progress, inventory levels, and demand planning data.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflows and reduce waste throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage MRP systems to ensure accurate demand planning and inventory control for timely procurement of materials.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams to provide updates on project status and resolve any issues promptly.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and quality standards while maintaining compliance with safety regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports on project performance metrics for senior management review.
Experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing or supply chain management, preferably within the millwork or woodworking industry.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of demand planning, MRP processes, and lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate across various departments and external partners.
- Experience working within a fast-paced production environment is preferred. This role is integral to ensuring the successful delivery of millwork projects while maintaining operational efficiency through effective use of technology and best practices in manufacturing and supply chain management.
Pay: $45,234.46-$85,179.71 per year
