Turn Your Kinesiology Degree Into a Career in Pedorthics
With 35 years of experience, Foster’s Shoes has become a trusted name in retail footwear, professional fitting, pedorthics, custom orthotics and footwear modification.
We are looking for a Kinesiologist or recent Kinesiology graduate who is interested in building a career as a Certified Pedorthist – C. Ped (C).
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of human movement, anatomy and biomechanics who wants to apply their education in a hands-on, patient-focused environment.

You’ll learn alongside our experienced team, gaining practical experience that complements your formal pedorthic education.
Our custom orthotics are created on-site in our Orthotics Laboratory, allowing you to be involved in the entire process—from assessing a patient and recommending a treatment solution to fitting, modifying and adjusting the finished product.

- Developing hands-on orthotic fabrication and modification skills
- Performing footwear modifications in our on-site laboratory
- Providing professional footwear fittings based on individual patient needs
- Recommending footwear and pedorthic solutions
- Educating patients on footwear, orthotics and ongoing care
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals
- Providing an exceptional, patient-focused experience
- Assisting and educating our retail team on footwear, fit and foot health
